Noblesse Shines
Krewe de la Noblesse held its 25th Annual Ball on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Lake Charles Civic Center. Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Mr. Dale Mann.
The presentation began with the posting of colors by the Third Battalion, 156th Infantry Division of the Louisiana National Guard and the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a salute to the Krewe’s Imperial Crest.

Richard and Mary Anne Holmes
Richard, is a graduate of Baldwin Township High School, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He retired from PPG after 32 years of service. He is a member of the PPG Family Association, and a volunteer for the Children’s Miracle Network.
Mary
Anne is a graduate of St. Francis
de Sales Academy, Houma, Louisiana and Hotel Dieu School of Nursing, New
Orleans, Louisiana. A Registered Nurse, she retired from St. Patrick’s
Hospital after 23 years of service and Oxy Chemicals after 5 years of
service. She is a member of Mardi Gras SWLA, has volunteered with the
Children’s Miracle Network and serves on the Board of Villa Maria Retirement
Center.
Dick and Mary Anne attend Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church where
they are Eucharistic Ministers and involved in several other ministries.
They are the proud parents of five – Holly Ritter, Karen Boggs, John Holmes,
Mindy Abshire, and Nancy Holmes; and grandparents of eleven.
Dick and Mary Ann have both served on the Noblesse Board of Directors and Mary Anne served as captain in 2004. They were Duke and Duchess in 1989 (Circus - Circus).

Captain Emeritus Richard Breaux and His Escort Marilyn Breaux
Richard is a retired businessman and enjoys hunting, fishing, and
gardening. He and wife Marilyn Fontenot Breaux are the parents of four –
Ricky Breaux, Vickie Breaux Michaud, Geneva Breaux and Jason Breaux.
Richard served as captain from 1990 thru 1995 and again in 1998.
Richard and Marilyn were King and Queen in 1987 (Knights of the
Roundtable)

Captain Emeritus Joey Angers and His Escort Dr. Julie Angers
Joey is a graduate of University of Louisiana Lafayette and is Gulf Coast Region Vice President for McJunkin Redman Corporation. He and his wife, Julie, reside in Baton Rouge and are the parents of three – Joey, Nicole and Thomas. In his spare time he enjoys golf and fishing.
Joey served as Captain in 1996 & 1997
Joey and Julie were Duke and Duchess in 1991 (Noblesse Tours Broadway), and King and Queen in 2000 (Noblesse Journeys to the Far East).

Captain Emeritus Keith Jagneaux and His Escort Ellen Jagneaux
Keith is a graduate of Lake Charles High School, an honor graduate of Sowela Technical Institute of Culinary Arts and is an American Culinary Federation award recipient. He is in the process of obtaining his Master Chef’s designation and is the Executive Chef at the Lake Charles Country Club. Keith and his wife Ellen have been married 31 years and are the parents of three sons – Adam, David and Jason. Keith enjoys hunting, camping, fishing, and riding his Harley.
Keith served as Captain from 2001 thru 2003. He was Duke in 2005 (Nobless' Roaring 20th) and again in 2007 (Shakespearean Interlude). He and Ellen were Duke and Duchess in 1993 (Noblesse Encounters Europe), and King and Queen in 1997 (Noblesse Salutes Disney).

Captain Leo Reddoch and His Escort Heather Reddoch
Leo and Heather, the former Heather Wells, are residents of Lake Charles and the owners of Reddoch Land Surveying, Gulf Coast Unishippers, Western Shipping Group of New Mexico, and Ship It All of Beaumont, Texas. They are the parents of three sons – Jason, Grant, and Alec. Leo is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and enjoys sailing, hunting, fishing and golf.
Leo has been a Krewe member since 1997 and Has served as Captain since 2004. He and Heather were Duke and Duchess in 1997 (Noblesse Salutes Disney) and King and Queen in 2002 (Holliday Celebrations).

the traditional promenade and toast by the Royal Court, members and
guest enjoyed the remainder of the evening dancing and merriment.

Amanda Holly Ritter, daughter of Paul and Holly Ritter, was sponsored by her grandparents, Krewe Members Dick and Mary Anne Holmes. Amanda is a 2007 graduate of North Shore High School in Slidell, Louisiana, where she was a member of the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success. She is currently a junior at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana where she is majoring in nursing. Amanda plans to continue her education to become a nurse practitioner. She has been named to both the Dean’s and the President’s List and is very active in the Baptist College Ministry. She enjoys jogging and this past November participated in the 10K Crescent Cities Classic in New Orleans. Amanda was escorted by her grandfather Dick Holmes.

Bayley Marie Schendel, daughter of Robert and Linda Schendel, was sponsored by her grandparents, Krewe Members Richard and Theresa Michels. She is a senior at Rolling Meadows High School in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. Upon graduation Bayley plans on attending the University of Illinois in Chicago, most likely to pursue courses in Special Education or the Arts. Bayley loves to read and write short stories. She is a member of the Girls Gymnastics and Girls Soccer teams and serves as a manager for the Boys Gymnastic Team. She is also a member of the Yoga Club and the Mighty Mustang Mentors who counsels and assist other student. She was escorted by her grandfather, Richard Michels.

Cami Lyn Vincent, daughter of Krewe Members, Anthony and Mary Vincent, is a 2007 Honors Graduate of South Cameron High School where she was a member of the Beta Club, the Future Business Leaders of America, and the Girls Basketball Team. Upon graduation she was awarded the Tops Scholarship and currently attends Sowela Community College majoring in Process Technology where she has been named to the Dean’s List. Cami is a member of the Junior Catholic Daughters and the Youth Group at Sacred Heart of Jesus in Creole, Louisiana. She enjoys shopping, hanging out with friends and family and riding four wheelers and is a huge McNeese and LSU fan. Cami was escorted by her father.

Celeste Leger, daughter of Krewe Members Herman and Ann Leger, is a 2009 graduate of Alfred Barbe High School. While attending Barbe she participated in volleyball and softball. She plans on attending college in the future and is currently employed at Raising Canes. In her spare time she enjoys riding her four wheeler, boating, fishing and camping with her family and friends. Celeste was escorted by her father.

Emily Abshire, granddaughter of Krewe Members, Dick and Mary Anne Holmes, was escorted by her father, Kevin Abshire. Emily, daughter of Kevin and Mindy Abshire, is a 2009 Honors Graduate of Bishop Nolan Catholic High School in Ft. Worth, Texas where she was a member of the National Honor Society, Texas Private School Music Educators Association, and the All State Band. Emily currently attends Louisiana State University where she is majoring in Biology and is a member of the LSU Golden Band from Tigerland. She has been awarded the Golden Oaks Scholarship from LSU and plans to attend medical school to become an Obstetrician.

Maggie Holmes Ritter, daughter of Paul and Holly Ritter, was sponsored by her grandparents, Krewe Members Dick and Mary Anne Holmes. She is a 2006 graduate of North Shore High School in Slidell, Louisiana and is currently a senior at Louisiana Tech University majoring in Health and Physical Education. Maggie is a participant in the Master Program “Adaptive Physical Education” and has been listed on both the Dean’s and President’s List. She is Vice President of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority and Member-at-Large of the Student Government. She enjoys exercising and running and recently completed the Disney Half Marathon as well as the 10K Crescent City Classic. Maggie was escorted by her father Paul Ritter.
